Conscious Dreams Publishing

EVENTS

We pride ourselves on organising and hosting innovative, insightful fun and engaging events. At Conscious Dreams Publishing, we plan, organise and host book launches for authors. We are responsible for sourcing venues and creating an atmosphere that reflects the author’s personality and book. Whether it’s a bar, bookshop, community centre or conference room, we’ll find the right place for you. Together, we work on establishing a running order that keeps your guests engaged and excited to celebrate the launch of your book with you.

We also have other events, such as Black Authors on the Rise during Black History Month, conferences, workshops and retreats for writers as well as networking parties to get you connected to other authors and experts in the writing and publishing industry. Our Christmas parties are events not to be missed!

‘The Power of Your Story is a dynamic 2-hour workshop focused on helping you craft your vision and refine your writing, guiding you from the initial spark of an idea to a clear and compelling manuscript.

It’s something I hear all the time, and it’s exactly why I’m so excited to be part of Soul Purpose 360’s SoulFull BookFest & Anthology Showcase this year.

  • Master your Audience – Learn how to really understand who your reader is and how to connect with them.
  • Collaborate with Like-Minded Authors – Connect, brainstorm, and grow with a group of ten aspiring authors, all on the same journey to share their powerful messages and stories.

Plus, an opportunity to book a free 1-2-1 20-minute book consultation with me.

Your story has the power to inspire, educate, and transform. Don’t let it stay untold. Book your space today and take the first step toward making your book—and your impact—a reality.

‘Black Authors on the Rise: A celebration of Black Authors and Literature’

Black Authors on the Rise is an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating the incredible talent and stories of some of the 150+ Black authors we’ve published at Conscious Dreams Publishing

While many discussions highlight the scarcity of Black authors in the publishing world, we’re here to showcase that the narrative is changing. Over the past nine years, Conscious Dreams Publishing has proudly published a diverse array of books across genres—self-development, memoirs, sci-fi, adult and children’s fiction, health and wellness, and educational titles. Now, we’re coming together to celebrate these voices and the cultural richness they bring to the literary world.

Event Highlights:
🎉Author Talks: Hear directly from our authors as they share their journeys, inspirations, and the challenges they’ve overcome.
🎉Rudolph Walker, CBEAn inspirational talk and book signing by veteren actor Rudolph Walker, CBE.
🎉Workshops for Aspiring Authors: Interested in becoming an author? Join our workshops for both adults and children, offering insights into the publishing process and guidance on how to start your writing journey.
🎉Cultural Celebration: Enjoy entertainment, food, and drink that reflect the vibrant cultures of Africa and the Caribbean.
🎉Support and Empower: Encourage our children to explore literature that represents them, and be inspired to take pen to paper yourself.

This event isn’t just a celebration—it’s a movement to uplift and empower Black voices in literature. Whether you’re a reader, an aspiring writer, or simply someone who wants to support Black authors, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
